Summary: | En el presente estudio se determinó la prevalencia de Malassezia pachydermtis en caninos que asisten a consulta en una clínica veterinaria, tomando muestras de las diferentes áreas anatómicas en el cual se utilizaron tres métodos de diagnóstico que son: Lámpara de wood, citología, mapa de lesiones con el fin de conocer las lesiones que genera a nivel cutáneo y ótico aportando con un método de diagnóstico adecuado beneficiando al bienestar de la mascota. This study determined the prevalence of Malassezia pachydermtis in canines that attend consultation in a veterinary clinic, taking samples of the different anatomical areas in which three diagnostic methods were used that are: wood lamp, cytology, injury map in order to know the lesions it generates at the skin and otic level contributing with an appropriate method of diagnosis benefiting the well-being of the pet.
