Summary: | The aim of this work is to find in the texts of three prominent Renaissance artists evidence of how they themselves reflect on their professional role. From this perspective, the following texts are analyzed: Trattato della Pittura and diaries Scritti letterari by Leonardo da Vinci, verses Le rime and letters Le lettere by Michelangelo Buonarroti, autobiography La Vita and I trattati dell' oreficeria e della scultura by Benvenuto Cellini. The first chapter is a brief introduction to the entire work, followed by three chapters dedicated to individual artists. The second chapter introduces Leonardo da Vinci, his life and work. The third chapter focuses on Michelangelo Buonarroti, his life and work. The fourth chapter is devoted to Benvenuto Cellini, his life and work. A significant part of the work is represented by excerpts from the artists personal documents, through which three thematic areas are analyzed. They are divided into subchapters: "Artist and patron", "Renaissance understanding of the artist" and "Aesthetic opinions ". In the subsections, we follow the roles of individual courts or centers, the specificity of the artist or his relationship to morality. Advice on how to paint or sculpt correctly and how to solve specific problems. These subsections are analyzed to varying extents. Cílem této práce je dohledat v textech tří výrazných renesančních umělců svědectví, jak sami reflektují svou profesionální roli. Z této perspektivy jsou analyzovány následující texty: traktát Trattato della Pittura a deníky, zápisky Scritti letterari Leonarda da Vinciho, verše Rime a dopisy Le lettere Michelangela Buonarrotiho, autobiografie La Vita a traktáty I trattati dell'oreficeria e della scultura Benvenuta Celliniho. První kapitola je stručným úvodem k celé práci, dále následují tři kapitoly, které jsou věnovány jednotlivým umělcům. Ve druhé kapitole je představen Leonardo da Vinci, jeho život a dílo.
