In this bachelor thesis I deal with the changes of Spanish foreign policy towards Latin America. I look at this issue through the transformation of national identity in different periods of ruling parties in Spain. As a result, I compare the factors that led to the concept of Latin American foreign policy under various Spanish governments, such as the integration into the European Communities, the North Atlantic Alliance or the organization of Ibero- American summits to bring together states sharing Ibero-American culture. V této bakalářské práci se zabývám proměnami španělské zahraniční politiky vůči Latinské Americe. Na tuto problematiku nahlížím skrze proměny národní identity za rozdílných období vládnoucích stran ve Španělsku. V návaznosti na to porovnávám faktory, které za různých španělských vlád vedly k pojetí latinskoamerické zahraniční politiky jako například integrace do Evropských společenství, Severoatlantické aliance nebo pořádání Iberoamerických summitů za účelem spojení států sdílejících iberoamerickou kulturu.
