| Summary: | Thesis "Corruption in the Czech Customs Administration" is focused on the issue of corruption and the causes of corrupt behaviour of Czech customs officials. The primary task of this work was to determine whether it is the disorganization of the armed force or the individual deviance which influences the level of corruption in the Czech Customs Administration more. The secondary task was to elicit the level of corruption as it is perceived by the customs officials themselves and on the basis of the acquired information to suggest some anti-corruption measures. The theory of social disorganization and the theory of social deviancy were used as the basis for this work. The data required for the decision whether it is the disorganization of the armed force or the individual deviance which influences the level of corruption in the Czech Customs Administration more and the data for the findings of the corruption level as it is perceived by the customs officials was collected from a quantitative research. This research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire that was distributed among Czech customs officials The research revealed that the main factor which increases the level of corruption in the Czech Customs Administration is the social disorganization of the armed force. Diplomová práce "Korupce v Celní správě České republiky" je zaměřena na problematiku korupce a na příčiny korupčního chování celníků ve služebním poměru k Celní správě České republiky. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda má na zvyšování míry korupce v Celní správě České republiky větší vliv dezorganizace sboru, nebo individuální deviace jednotlivých pracovníků. Sekundárními cíli bylo zjistit míru korupce tak, jak ji vnímají sami celníci a navrhnout na základě získaných poznatků některá protikorupční opatření. Jako základ byly v práci využity teorie sociální dezorganizace a teorie sociální deviace. Údaje potřebné pro rozhodnutí o tom, zda má na vývoj míry korupce rozhodující vliv sociální dezorganizace sboru nebo individuální deviace jedince, a také údaje pro zjištění míry korupce vnímané celníky byly získány provedením kvantitativního výzkumu prostřednictvím dotazníku, který byl rozdán vybraným celníkům. Po vyhodnocení dat získaných z výzkumu se ukázalo, že hlavním faktorem, který ovlivňuje zvyšování míry korupce v celní správě, je sociální dezorganizace sboru. Co se týče míry korupce vnímané celníky, ukázalo se, že zasaženost celní správy korupcí vnímají sami celníci jako střední. Z práce vyplynulo doporučení pro Celní správu České republiky zaměřit se na aplikaci protikorupčních opatření.
