| Summary: | The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of professional skills of effective communication of police officers from the Liberec regional department with a person with autism spectrum disorder. The author especially found out how much these police officers are informed about specific communication with the target group and how they assess their competencies in this area. The text has a theoretical-application disposition. The author deals in more detail with autism spectrum disorders, especially the characteristic manifestations in behavior, communication and social interaction of people with autism spectrum disorders, myths associated with this diagnosis and adulthood of people with ASD in the theoretical part. Furthermore, the attention is briefly focused on the Institute of Police of the Czech Republic and finally the author introduces the reader to the Communication File - Communication with People with Autism Spectrum Disorder, issued by the Government Committee for People with Disabilities, which police officers should ideally use in their practice. The aim of the empirical part was to find out how police officers from Liberec regional department are introduced with the Communication File whether they use it in practise. Furthermore, the author also tried to obtain information about the fact if. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou profesní vybavenosti příslušníků pořádkové policie územního odboru Liberec pro komunikaci s člověkem s poruchou autistického spektra, především tím, nakolik jsou tito policisté informováni o specificích komunikace s danou cílovou skupinou a jak sami posuzují své kompetence v této oblasti. Práce má teoreticko-aplikační povahu. V teoretické části se autor podrobněji věnuje problematice poruch autistického spektra, především charakteristickým projevům v chování, komunikaci a sociální interakci handicapovaných osob s poruchou autistického spektra, mýtům spojeným s touto diagnózou a období dospělosti v životě lidí s PAS. Dále je pozornost stručně zaměřena na institut Policie České republiky a v neposlední řadě autor seznamuje čtenáře s Komunikačním souborem - Komunikace s lidmi s poruchou autistického spektra, vydaným Vládním výborem pro osoby se zdravotním postižením, který by policisté měli v ideálním případě ve své praxi používat. Cílem empirické části bylo zjistit, zdali jsou příslušníci pořádkové policie v rámci územního obvodu Liberec seznámeni s výše uvedeným Komunikačním souborem a jestli jej využívají v praxi. Dále se autor také snažil získat informace o tom, zdali tito policisté a policistky vnímají sami sebe jako schopné se s člověkem s PAS dorozumět a.
