| Summary: | Tato práce se věnuje životnímu stylu českých singles se zvláštním zaměřením na jejich sexuální a intimní vztahy. Jedná se o kvalitativní výzkum zkoumající biografie lidí, kteří sami sebe definují jako singles. Cílem této práce je podat stručný obraz jejich životního stylu a blíže prozkoumat sexuální a intimní vztahy, které singles navazují. Výzkum se opírá především o práci Anthonyho Giddense z hlediska sexuality a o Lynn Jamieson v rámci popisování intimity. Pomocí hloubkových kvalitativních rozhovorů autorka zjišťovala atributy singles života a životní motivace svých informátorů ve vztahu k singlovství - jak se do stavu singles dostali, proč v tomto životní stylu setrvávají, zdali je singlovství přechodným stadiem nebo dlouhodobou vyhlídkou. Speciálního zaměření se dostalo sexuálním a intimním vztahům - jaké vztahy singles navazují, jak je v nich prožívaná sexualita a intimita a zdali a jaké morální a genderové otázky v těchto vztazích vyvstávají. Zjištění této práce se týká právě popisu atributů single životního stylu a identifikace jejich životních motivací. Hlavním zjištěním je pak charakteristika šesti typů sexuálních vztahů, jejich vnitřních struktur a způsob prožívané sexuality a sdílení intimity. V neposlední řadě autorka vysvětluje problematiku objevujících se morálních dilemat sexuality. This dissertation studies the lifestyles of Czech singles with special attention being paid to their sexual and intimate relationships. This is a qualitative research examining the biography of people who define themselves as singles and the aim of which is to briefly illustrate their lifestyle and to take a closer look at the sexual and intimate relationships that they form. This research is supported by the work of Anthony Giddens on sexuality and of Lynn Jamieson on describing intimacy. Aided by deep qualitative talks, the author was looking to find the attributes of a single life and the life motivations of her research subjects with regard to a life as a single person - how did they become single and why do they continue with this lifestyle, is it a temporary state or intended to become a long term prospect. Special attention was paid to sexual and intimate relationships - what types of relationships singles form, how is sexuality and intimacy handled in these relationships, does it raise moral and gender questions and if so, which? The result of this work is primarily describing the attributes of the single lifestyle and identification of their life motivations.
