| Summary: | This article is an attempt to propose a new view of literature and expand its boundaries to include fan fiction. The text is also based on a survey of members of various fandoms. The research shows the relationship between the presence in fandom and the reading of fanfiction and traditional books and reveals the reasons for the popularity of this form of creativity, as well as the transformation of the way we understand and discuss literature. Artykuł jest próbą zaproponowania nowego spojrzenia na literaturę i rozszerzenia jej granic o fanfiction. Statystyki czytelnictwa dotyczące tradycyjnie rozumianej literatury od dawna utrzymują się na niskim poziomie, jednak stale wzrastają w obrębie fanfiction. Sami czytelnicy fikcji fanowskiej rozumieją i traktują czytane przez siebie teksty tak jak literaturę, zaś w obrębie fandomu wykształcają się zjawiska typowe dla wydarzeń okołoliterackich. Tekst artykułu został oparty na ankiecie i wywiadach przeprowadzonych wśród anglojęzycznych członków różnych fandomów, ukazujących przemiany sposobu rozumienia i dyskutowania na temat literatury. |
