Summary:International audience This article showcases the cultural outreach clip “Fire among the Iñupiat” from my archaeological research in northwestern Alaska and highlights new questions that are arising as I study fuel use and hearth function in the late prehistory of the region. Cet article présente le court-métrage animé «Le feu chez les Iñupiat» présentant mes recherches archéologiques dans le nord-ouest de l'Alaska. Il met aussi en évidence les nouvelles questions soulevées lors de mon étude de l'exploitation des combustibles et de la fonction des foyers à la fin de la préhistoire dans cette région.
