No Douglass yet though here at Gardeners 4800 ft. Aug 22. Frost here, lovely calm morning, the touch of the dawn on trees. Song of birds. Many campers here - 3 miles from Big Trees - photo trees. Pteris becoming abundant. All ground not in reserve naked with sheep. Arrived at Big Trees about 10am. W...
