Our publishers are particularly interested, and they desire me to say to you that if you have the material for a book which could also be made a practicable guide-book, by means of appendices, etc., we should like to have the privilege of publishing it. Some such book must be made before long, and we know of nobody who could combine the literary element and the practical element so well as you. What do you think of this idea?Do not forget also that you are to do us a book on the Yosemite Valley of a similar kind.
