Summary: | International audience We present measurements of the <math display="inline"><mi>E</mi></math>-mode (<math display="inline"><mi>E</mi><mi>E</mi></math>) polarization power spectrum and temperature-<math display="inline"><mi>E</mi></math>-mode (<math display="inline"><mi>T</mi><mi>E</mi></math>) cross-power spectrum of the cosmic microwave background using data collected by SPT-3G, the latest instrument installed on the South Pole Telescope. This analysis uses observations of a <math display="inline"><mn>1500</mn><mtext> </mtext><mtext> </mtext><mrow><msup><mrow><mi>deg</mi></mrow><mrow><mn>2</mn></mrow></msup></mrow></math> region at 95, 150, and 220 GHz taken over a four-month period in 2018. We report binned values of the <math display="inline"><mi>E</mi><mi>E</mi></math> and <math display="inline"><mi>T</mi><mi>E</mi></math> power spectra over the angular multipole range <math display="inline"><mn>300</mn><mo>≤</mo><mo>ℓ</mo><mo><</mo><mn>3000</mn></math>, using the multifrequency data to construct six semi-independent estimates of each power spectrum and their minimum-variance combination. These measurements improve upon the previous results of SPTpol across the multipole ranges <math display="inline"><mn>300</mn><mo>≤</mo><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>≤</mo><mn>1400</mn></math> for <math display="inline"><mi>E</mi><mi>E</mi></math> and <math display="inline"><mn>300</mn><mo>≤</mo><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>≤</mo><mn>1700</mn></math> for <math ... |
