Summary:Hemispherical map of Southern Hemisphere centred on South Pole. Relief shown pictorially. The map includes the routes of explorers, up to and including Capt. Cook's third and last voyage. Note the Imaginary coastline for southern Australia and Tasmania. In this reprint, note that all reference to the King has been removed in comparison with the other 1782 map. Therefore, this printing is later than the other, possibly issued during the French Revolution. Relief is shown by hachures.
