Se describe por primera vez la ninfa de Araucanioperla bullocki (Navás, 1933) y se extiende el límite norte de su distribución geográfica hasta los 35°50’S. Otras ninfas sugeridas previamente para el género son descartadas. El nuevo estado ninfal es comparado con el de Antarctoperla, considerado el más afín.
