Description
Summary:None. First paragraph: The purpose of this report is to provide recommendations regarding a proposed staged program of operational and structural measures to improve the upstream and downstream passage of anadromous Atlantic salmon and alewives/ gaspereau at the Woodland and Grand Falls hydroprojects. Denil type fishways, which have been in operation at both projects since 1965, require upgrading. Provisions for downstream passage at each facility are needed in order to meet management objectives and to conform with present day fish passage design standards.
