Summary:Ko je posameznik dalj časa izpostavljen stresu, se v njem odvijajo različni procesi, izraženi na njegovi fizični, psihični in vedenjski ravni, ki za sabo puščajo številne (pogosto) negativne posledice. Ko določena stopnja stresa prekorači mejo pozitivnega stresa, se pojavijo številne bolezni, čustvene težave, s tem pa se povečajo tudi pogostost izostanka z dela, slabše opravljanje delovnih nalog, nezadovoljstvo z delom, ipd. Delo in delovno okolje, v katerem posameznik preživi večino svojega časa, sta vse pogostejša dejavnika stresa. Vzrok za to so hitre spremembe, ki od zaposlenih in organizacij zahtevajo še hitrejše prilagajanje. In da bi jim to v čim večji meri tudi uspelo, je pomembno, da se vsi, tako zaposleni kot organizacije, seznanijo z metodami in tehnikami za premagovanje stresa ter jih tudi izvajajo. V empiričnem delu magistrske naloge smo ugotavljali najpogostejše dejavnike stresa v izbrani organizaciji, katere simptome stresa zaposleni opazijo pri sebi in pri svojih sodelavcih ter katere metode in tehnike uporabljajo sami in katere uporablja organizacija, da bi zmanjšala stres na delovnem mestu. Preverjali smo stopnjo stresa pri zaposlenih, ugotavljali razlike med spoloma glede stopnje doživljanja stresa, preverjali, ali je pri zaposlenih zdrav način življenja najpogosteje uporabljena metoda ter ali v izbrani organizaciji izvajajo strategije in/ali programe za premagovanje stresa na delovnem mestu. Vzorec udeležencev raziskave je zajemal 49 zaposlenih v poslovalnici podjetja X. After a long-term exposure to stress, there are several processes going on inside an individual, that reflect on their physical, psychological, and behavioural level, bringing several (frequently) negative consequences. At the point when a certain stress level exceeds the positive stress ceiling, numerous illnesses and emotional problems occur, and, consequently, the frequency of absence from work, lower quality of job performance, dissatisfaction with the work etc. increase. Work as well as work environment, where an individual spends the most of their time, are becoming increasingly important stress factors. The reason for this originates in quick changes that demand from employees and organisations even quicker adjustment. In order to succeed in doing that, it is important for everybody, the employees and the organizations, to inform themselves about methods and techniques for defeating stress, and to transfer that knowledge into practise. Within the empirical part of the master's thesis, we tried to find out what were the most common stress factors inside the organization X what were the stress symptoms that employees recognised in themselves as well as in their colleagues and what methods and techniques were used by them or by the organisation in order to reduce stress in the workplace. We examined the level of stress in employees identified the differences in the level of stress experienced according to gender examined whether the employees' healthy life style presented the most frequently used method in order to stop stress and whether strategies and/or programmes for reducing stress at work have been implemented within the organisation. Our research sample included 49 employees of the company X.
