Summary:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Alergija na hrano pri predšolskem otroku smo v teoretičnem delu zbrali podatke o vrstah alergij na hrano. Spregovorili smo tudi o simptomih alergije na hrano, iskanju alergena, postopku diagnosticiranja in vrstah alergoloških testov. Osredotočili smo se na preprečevanje in zdravljenje alergije na hrano ter na pomen dojenja za preprečevanje nastanka alergij. Prav tako smo se dotaknili tudi vloge staršev in vzgojiteljev. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni podatki raziskave, s katero smo ugotavljali odstotek predšolskih otrok s kakršno koli vrsto alergije na hrano, najpogostejši alergen in seznanjenost vzgojiteljev z vrstami alergij. Obdelani podatki so pridobljeni iz anketnega vprašalnika, ki je bil namenjen vzgojiteljem predšolskih otrok, zaposlenih v mariborskih vrtcih. Iz rezultatov anketnega vprašalnika je bilo razvidno, da se kar v polovici oddelkov s predšolskimi otroki pojavlja vsaj en otrok z alergijo na hrano. Vzgojitelji so dobro seznanjeni z vrstami alergij na hrano in v večini znajo ustrezno ukrepati ob izbruhu alergije. Tudi sestavine, potrebne za pripravo obrokov za otroke z alergijo, priskrbijo vrtci sami. The theoretical part of diploma work entitled Food allergies in preschool children contains the data about different types of food allergies. The work also discusses symptoms of children with food allergy, finding allergens, the process of diagnosing and different types of allergologic tests. The focus was given to prevention and treatment of food allergies as well as to the role of breast-feeding as a way of preventing the development of such allergies. The role of parents and preschool teachers is addressed in the work as well. The empirical part presents data on the research about the percentage of preschool children with any type of food allergy, the most frequent allergen and the acquaintance of preschool teachers with types of allergies. The work analyses data received from the questionnaire solved by preschool teachers employed in kindergartens of Maribor region. The results of this analysis show that there is at least one child with food allergy in every second group in kindergartens. Preschool teachers are well educated in this concern and can handle properly in case of allergy outburst. Kindergartens supply the ingredients for meals for children with food allergies on their own.
