Zagotavljanje internetnih zdravstvenih storitev v Sloveniji predstavlja področje izjemne rasti. Možnost nakupa določenih zdravil in posredovanje informacij ter nasvetov o njihovi varni uporabi nedvomno izboljšuje dostop ljudi do zdravil, krajšanje čakalne vrste, omogoča večjo zasebnost in izbiro lekarniških storitev, hkrati pa niza cene zdravil in storitev, vse pod pogojem, da ustrezna zakonodaja ščiti potrošnike, preprečuje zlorabe ter varuje njihove osebne podatke. Ljudje si želijo in pričakujejo tudi po internetu kakovostno farmacevtsko storitev in svetovanje, četudi se ne nahajajo v pravi lekarni in ne govorijo osebno s svojim farmacevtom. Vsebine na internetu morajo zadovoljevati potrebe raznovrstnih uporabnikov. Spletne strani morajo biti torej prilagojene množični uporabi interneta. Poudarek ni več na sami prisotnosti na internetu ali na tehnološki in oblikovni dovršenosti spletne strani, ampak v ospredje prihaja uporabnost. Glavna funkcija uporabnosti je omogočiti enake možnosti dostopa do različnih informacij različno usposobljenim uporabnikom. Spletna lekarna predstavlja novo možnost za razvoj lekarniške dejavnosti. S prilagajanjem novim tehnologijam, daje možnost porabnikom za pridobivanje novih informacij tako o njihovih boleznih, kot tudi o možnostih zdravljenja in samozdravljenja. Naša analiza temelji na petih spletnih straneh slovenskih e-lekarn (e-lekarna Lekarnar, e-lekarna Ljubljana, e-lekarna Najlekarna, e-lekarna Goriška in e-lekarna Slovenska Bistrica), pri kateri smo ugotovili, da se najbolj razlikujejo v vsebini, interaktivnosti in uporabnosti. Assurance of internet health services represents in Slovenia a sector of remarkable growth. Possibility of purchasing specific medications as well as providing information and advice for their safe use, unquestionably improves people’s access to medications, reduces waiting lines, enables greater privacy and variety of pharmaceutical services, and at the same time reduces prices of medications and services. However, all these advantages can only be fulfilled if suitable legislation protects users, prevents misuse, and protects users’ personal data. Although they are not present in a pharmacy at the moment and are not talking to their pharmacist personally, people wish and expect qualitative pharmaceutical service and advising on the internet. Internet contents must fulfill needs of various users therefore, web pages must be adjusted to widespread internet use. However, the emphasis is not on a mere presence of contents on the internet anymore, or on the technological and visual perfection of a web page, but on the usefulness of a specific web page. The main function of web page’s usefulness is to enable users with different internet knowledge the same possibilities of access to various information. E-pharmacy represents a new possibility for development of pharmaceutical activity. By adjusting to new technologies, it gives users a chance to acquire new information about their diseases as well as possibilities for their further medical treatment. Our analysis, based on five Slovenian e-pharmacies web pages (e-pharmacy Lekarnar, e-pharmacy Ljubljana, e-pharmacy Najlekarna, e-pharmacy Goriška and e-pharmacy Slovenska Bistrica), revealed that web pages differ mostly in contents, interactivity, and usefulness.
