Summary:V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge sem najprej opisala praznike in običaje praznovanja ter izpostavila predvsem tiste praznike, ob katerih se obdarujemo. Obdarujemo se lahko z darili, ki jih kupimo ali pa jih izdelamo sami. Otroci bi velikokrat radi staršem in prijateljem kaj podarili, a za to nimajo denarja. Najlažja rešitev je, da darilo naredijo sami, kar ima največjo vrednost v očeh staršev in prijateljev. Za izdelovanje različnih izdelkov je zagotovo najpogosteje uporabljen material papir, ki je lahko dostopen in ponuja različne načine obdelovanja. Z njim lahko delajo tako mlajši otroci kot tudi tisti nekoliko starejši. Z malo pomoči in ustvarjalnosti lahko otrok ustvari imenitne izdelke. Pri praktičnem delu smo z učenci izdelovali različna darila, ki bi jih lahko podarili svojim najbližjim za različne praznike. Izdelovali smo jih iz papirja, in sicer v času podaljšanega bivanja. Takrat imajo učenci veliko prostega časa, ki ga z veseljem porabijo za ustvarjanje. Bistvo mojega praktičnega dela je bilo, da učenci spoznajo uporabnost papirja za izdelavo praktičnih izdelkov in se naučijo osnovnih načinov dela s tem materialom. Pri tem razvijajo ročne spretnosti, sposobnost sledenja navodilom in natančnost pri izdelavi, na osnovi naučenega pa samostojno ustvarjajo podobne izdelke, ki jih lahko z lastno kreativnostjo še nadgradijo. Ob tem uresničujejo svoje ideje, si krepijo samozavest in občutijo zadovoljstvo ob kreativnem delu. In the theoretical part of my thesis I described holidays and traditions connected to celebrations and tried to expose holidays on which we give and get presents. They can be either bought or made by ourselves. Children often feel like giving something to their parents and friends, but they do not have any money, so the easiest way for them is to make a gift by themselves, which is of great value for their parents and friends. The most frequently used material for making different products is definitely paper, as it is easily accessible and you can work with it in different ways. It is appropiate not just for younger, but also for older children. With a little help and creativity they can make distinguishing products. In the practical part we produced gifts which children can give their nearest and dearest on special days. We worked on the products made of paper during their stay at school after the lessons. That is the time when children have much free time they are more than happy to spend being creative. The aim of my practical part was to show children how useful paper is to create practical products and to learn the basics about how to work with this material. While doing it, children can develop manual skills, the ability to follow the instructions and the precision on how to work on the products, as well as how to create similar products on their own, based on the knowledge they gained before. With their creativity they can even upgrade their knowledge, they can realize their ideas, develop their self-confidence and feel satisfaction because of their creative work.
