description Temelj raziskovanja diplomskega dela predstavlja osebnost in njeno opredelitev. Najprej smo predstavili osnovne pojme o človeku in razložili njegovo podzavest in zavest. V poglavju o osebnosti smo predstavili kronološko spreminjanje pomena osebnosti, ki se spreminja skozi različna obdobja in po različnih avtorjih. Vloga posameznika in njegova osebnost kot temeljni element organizacije se je skozi zgodovino spreminjala, spremenile pa so se tudi posameznikove osebne značilnosti, vplivi, razvojni potencial, položaj in podobno. Spoznanje, da je osebne lastnosti, značaj, temperament, telesna zgradba in sposobnosti človeka mogoče povezati z njegovim delom, vrednotam in načelom v organizaciji, pomeni izhodišče za pojmovanje človeka kot najpomembnejšega elementa organizacije. V želji po spoznanju človekove osebnosti, smo v času izdelovanja diplomske naloge v nadaljevanju podali nekatere možne klasifikacije osebnostnih teorij, kar predstavlja logično združenje posameznih teorij v celoto predstavitev osebnosti. V poglavju o vplivu osebnosti človeka kot ključnega dejavnika uspeha in delovanja v organizaciji, predstavljamo človekovo delo in njegovo vlogo v organizaciji. Na kratko smo opisali pomen dela skozi zgodovino, ravnanje z ljudmi pri delu in njihove vrednote. Nadaljnje smo predstavili človekove zmožnosti, njegovo vlogo in mesto v organizaciji ter jih povezali z razvijanjem človekovega vpliva na organizacijo, izzive in načela s katerimi se soočajo znotraj organizacije, osebne delovne cilje razvoja človeka in vrednote vodstvenih in ostalih ljudi v organizaciji. Vrednote v podjetju so namenjene usmerjanju stališč, mnenj in vedenj, in so skriti motivatorji, ki jih težko opazimo. Ko posamezniki spoznajo vrednote v organizaciji in spoznajo izzive, jim to omogoča oblikovanje in gradnjo višje predanosti delu in sami organizaciji. To vse prinaša doseganje osebnostnih in podjetniških ciljev ter zadovoljstvo in motivacijo za delo vnaprej. Zadnja poglavja diplomskega dela se nanašajo predvsem na vpliv osebnosti na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih in s njimi povezno motivacijo in na sposobnost določenih tipov osebnosti pri premagovanju stresa. Diplomsko delo se zaključi z osebnostjo kot determinanto uspešnosti posameznika, organizacije in njune odvisnosti. The personality and the definition thereof represents the basis of research in this thesis. At first, we introduced the basic concepts concerning men, and explained his consciousness and sub-consciousness. In the chapter about personality, we introduced the chronological changes in the meaning of personality, which differs according to periods and authors. The individual’s role, as well as his personality - representing the basic element of organization - his personal characteristics, influences, development potential, position, etc. have changed through history. The recognition of possible linking of man’s personal characteristics, character, frame of mind, physical appearance and his abilities, with his work, values and principles in the organization, represents the starting point for comprehending man as the basic element of organization. In the desire to perceive man’s personality we presented some possible classifications of personality theories, which represent a logical unification of individual theories into a whole. In the chapter about the influences of man’s personality – the key factor of success and functioning in an organization – we present man’s work, and his role in an organization. We made a short revision of the significance of work throughout history, the treatment of workers and their virtues. Furthermore, we presented man’s capabilities, his role and place in an organization and linked them to the development of man’s influence on an organization, the challenges and principles confronted in an organization, work goals for personal development, and to the virtues of managers and other personnel. Although company virtues are there to direct points of view, opinions and knowledge, they are also hidden motivators, and are very hard to spot. Acquaintance with the company virtues and challenges enable man to perceive and build on his dedication to his work, as well as his dedication to the organization. All this contributes to reaching personal and company goals, as well as content and motivation for the future. The last few chapters of the thesis refer mostly to the influence of personality on the contentedness of employees and their motivation, and to the ability of certain types of personality for overcoming stress. The thesis is concluded with the notion that the personality is the determinant for personal and company success, and the intertwining of the two.

Nadaljnje smo predstavili človekove zmožnosti, njegovo vlogo in mesto v organizaciji ter jih povezali z razvijanjem človekovega vpliva na organizacijo, izzive in načela s katerimi se soočajo znotraj organizacije, osebne delovne cilje razvoja človeka in vrednote vodstvenih in ostalih ljudi v organizaciji. Vrednote v podjetju so namenjene usmerjanju stališč, mnenj in vedenj, in so skriti motivatorji, ki jih težko opazimo. Ko posamezniki spoznajo vrednote v organizaciji in spoznajo izzive, jim to omogoča oblikovanje in gradnjo višje predanosti delu in sami organizaciji. To vse prinaša doseganje osebnostnih in podjetniških ciljev ter zadovoljstvo in motivacijo za delo vnaprej. Zadnja poglavja diplomskega dela se nanašajo predvsem na vpliv osebnosti na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih in s njimi povezno motivacijo in na sposobnost določenih tipov osebnosti pri premagovanju stresa.
