Description
Summary:B.EUR.STUD.(HONS) This dissertation concentrates primarily on the effect of a good efficient governance system as a factor in increasing the welfare of the small states (in increasing the small state's resilience) of Luxembourg, Estonia and Iceland. The dissertation was written from a micro scale perspective of each individual governance constituent, rather than a general overall approach to the governance systems at national and European levels. To sum up, the first chapter serves as a literature review on the topic, whilst the second chapter analyzes each separate governance indicator at a national level. The European Union's affect on each constituent is described in the third chapter and the final fourth chapter refers to any future strategies that should be adopted to improve the small state's development.
