| Summary: | The Project is developed as a transforming element for an existing border in the city of Bogotá, this border goes from calle 8va to Avenida primera de mayo along the west edge of Autopista sur. The aim is to modify the existing dynamics of the place considering preexisting elements and future plans of connection with the metro system proposed by the city. The proposal seeks to generate permeable and sensorial spaces which inspires the city into transforming into a more inclusive and sustainable place. As a result of the development, diverse buildings are created, among them are residential buildings, retail spaces with enough area to accommodate existing activities, a medical center for blind people and a self-sustainable market. As the proposal is constituted by three blocks, a main axis is generated to cross and integrate the whole project, this axis seeks to give importance to pedestrians by creating spaces with widths that are proportional to the buildings and the highway next to them. Likewise, elevated streets are created to walk throughout the entire project through platforms, bridges and terraces. El proyecto se desarrolla como un elemento transformador del borde existente a lo largo de la autopista sur entre la calle 8va y la avenida primera de mayo en Bogotá. Este tiene como objetivo modificar las dinámicas existentes del lugar, teniendo en cuenta las prexistencias y los futuros planes de conexión con el sistema de metro de la ciudad. La propuesta busca generar espacios permeables y sensoriales que impulsen a la ciudad a ser más inclusiva y sostenible. Como resultado se desarrollan unidades de vivienda en altura, comercio de dimensiones apropiadas para adoptar los usos actuales, centros médicos pensados para personas invidentes y un mercado con cultivos integrados para su auto sostenibilidad.
