Summary:The present study reports for the first time the presence of the lobster Parribacus antarcticus for the reefs of the southwest of the Gulf of Mexico that form part of the Reef Corridor of the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico. Observations of P. antarcticus were made at Lobos reef during a night dive, and at Palo Seco reef during a day dive. A 19 cm long specimen was collected at Lobos reef. With the present record, it increases to seven species of lobsters that have distribution in the Reef Corridor of the Southwestern Gulf of Mexico. El presente estudio, reporta por primera vez, la presencia de la langosta zapatera Parribacus antarcticus para los arrecifes del suroeste del golfo de México que forman parte del Corredor Arrecifal del Suroeste del Golfo de México. Las observaciones de P. antarcticus se realizaron en el arrecife Lobos durante un buceo nocturno y en el arrecife Palo Seco durante un buceo diurno. Un espécimen de 19 cm de longitud fue recolectado en el arrecife Lobos. Con el presente registro, se incrementa a siete especies de langostas que tienen distribución en el Corredor Arrecifal del Suroeste del Golfo de México.
