On July 12, 2010, the University of Guelph Library hosted a free public lecture by award-winning filmmaker John Houston, with guests Ree Brenin and the Rigolet My Word Team. Houston discussed his involvement with the “Changing Climate, Changing Health, Changing Stories” project, which is using digital media to assess the impacts of climate change on health and well-being in an Inuit community in northern Newfoundland and Labrador. Graduate students Ashlee Cunsolo Willox and Sherilee Harper presented their research as part of the Rigolet My Word team. Tanya Pottle, Ashley Shiwak and Dina Wolfrey presented their contributions to the project. Following these talks, Houston's film 'Kivluq' was screened. The event concluded with a question and answer period.
