Description
Summary:The authors used three cultures of inquiry to form an integrative framework for community-based program evaluation within an Aboriginal child and family caring agency. The integrative framework included elements of action research, the learning organization, and logic modelling. Community members and agency personnel were involved in setting the agenda of the inquiry, collection and the analysis of data over the course of the evaluation, and participated in the development of the logic models. The aim of the evaluation was to strengthen the capacity of the agency to deliver effective, culturally-sound, and empowering services to vulnerable Aboriginal children and families.
