Summary:In this work we will be seeing the music production of Taiguara as they are in the Brazilian musical scenario. We aim to understand the perspective of the author of the themes present in his production and his perspectives towards them through, specially during the decade of 1970. For that we analyse the musician by the aesthetics of his music through the genres explored by him in each of the albums, for example; the relation established between set aspects and the lyrics and his positioning towards them; the literary aesthetics particular to each album; biographical aspects of the author, such as his engagement with the political left-wing; identity subjects and the relation it has with the past, the present in which the song is written, and the future it may be. To reach such conclusions, besides the lyrics itself, it was analyzed magazines articles, interviews, speeches given during concerts, biographical data, physical copies of the albums, and newspapers. All that to take a better perspective on the songs regarding authorship, work and reception. Besides that, it is important to state that the focus of this work is the last album recorded by Taiguara during the decade of 1970: Imyra, Tayra, Ipy, which is a singular landmark not only on the career of the musician, but the whole national scene by its lyrical and musical aspects and the problems it had regarding the censorship. Neste trabalho são compreendidas as produções musicais do compositor Taiguara e como estão elas inseridas diante de determinados recortes dentro do amplo panorama da música brasileira. Procura-se compreender diante da produção do autor qual a perspectiva apresentada, principalmente ao longo da década de 1970, sobre as temáticas abordadas em suas canções, e trazer ponderações a partir de proposições de mundo vistas nas letras. Para além disso, busca-se a compreensão de Taiguara como músico no desenvolvimento dos aspectos estético-sonoros, como, por exemplo, os gêneros por ele explorados em cada disco, e a relação estabelecida entre ...
