Summary:The disorderly occupation of land and the rapid growth of cities has caused no plans currently environmental problems especially for the greens. When these do not come under great pressure as to be extinct, are relatively or completely degraded . In order to further aggravate the situation, reach the Permanent Preservation Areas ( PPAs ), recharge aquifers, hilltops, and springs, especially riparian forests . In these cases the rural areas usually are the main culprits, since farmers often seek to expand their crops, adopt inappropriate uses and management for agricultural practice . Arise as a result of withdrawals of riparian vegetation surrounding rivers, therefore the appearance of scars erosive soils, and finally the silting of river channels . As well as subsidies to environmental planning this research performs the mapping of the use and occupation of land, as well as its spatial representation in the areas of APP 's ( UGRHI - MP ) River Basin New, with the goal of spatialization their geoecological states ( optimized state, altered state and exhausted state ), with a view to integrated analysis of your landscape . Within this purpose so that the thematic mapping ( 1:50,000 ) to obtain the desired measurement methodology was used as a buffer technique of software Idrisi Taiga and ArcGIS 9.3, where through a track, the simulated around each River Basin, as preset width was possible to obtain a comparison between the actual occupation of the forests ( current) with the ideal occupation ( environmental laws ), thus identifying areas with potential and / or criticality for different uses and occupations . At the end of the study, we prepared a map of synthesis, representing the current scenario, highlighting the geoecological states of the landscape.
