| Summary: | This research on the use of information technology and communication in the inter-learning process was carried out in the "School Andrade Trinidad Lynx" of the Parish of Puerto Limon in order to obtain information on the reasons why teachers do not use ICT to improve the quality of education and prepare students according to the requirements of the third millennium, with the innovation of science and new technologies. The methodology used in research is the field and literature; of field because it is run on the same campus, through the use of surveys, questionnaires and 8 teachers, 33 students in the seventh year of basic bibliographic queries that theoretical framework it is done using several books, texts, internet and others, what our research foundation. Once the results tabulated and subjected to critical analysis diagnosed the causes why the teachers do not use ICT, which exist in the institution. Percentages expressing the results of the surveys determined that 100% of teachers have knowledge and awareness of the existence and importance of ICT in the process of inter-learning, as research shows that a good percentage do not use for not be trained in handling and use, etc., and the other percentage is trained, but do not give due importance to the use of ICT in the process, ie do not take advantage it offers. For the above reasons the proposal is seen as solution to the problem, the use and application of the methodological guide of Encarta in the process of inter-learning to all teachers who work in the institution and thus can provide students quality education, innovative and constructive human being, according to the requirements of today's world that forces trained and prepared to face the challenges of the third millennium, using modern technological tools in the various activities of social and labor. Esta investigación sobre la utilización de las tecnologías de la información y Comunicación en el proceso de inter-aprendizaje, fue realizada en la “Escuela Trinidad Andrade de Lince” de la Parroquia de Puerto Limón con la finalidad de obtener información sobre las razones por las que los docentes no utilizan las TIC, para mejorar la calidad de la educación y preparar a los estudiantes de acuerdo a las exigencias del tercer milenio, con la innovación de la ciencia y las nuevas tecnologías. La metodología aplicada en la investigación es la de campo y bibliográfica; de campo porque es ejecutada en el mismo plantel, mediante la aplicación de encuestas, con cuestionarios a 8 docentes, 33 estudiantes de séptimo año de básica y bibliográfica, por que las consultas del marco teórico se lo hace recurriendo a varios libros, textos, internet y otros, lo que fundamento nuestro trabajo investigativo. Una vez tabulados los resultados y sometidos a un análisis crítico se diagnostican las causas por las que los docentes no utilizan las TIC, que existen en la Institución. Expresando en porcentajes los resultados de las encuestas que se determina que el 100% de los docentes tienen conocimiento y conciencia de la existencia e importancia de las TIC en el proceso de inter-aprendizaje; según la investigación se deduce que un buen porcentaje no emplean por no estar capacitados en su manejo y utilización; así mismo, el otro porcentaje está capacitado, pero no dan la debida importancia a la utilización de las TIC en el proceso, es decir no aprovechan las ventajas que ofrece . Por las razones señaladas se plantea como propuesta la solución al problema planteado, la utilización y aplicación de la guía metodológica del Encarta en el proceso de inter-aprendizaje.
