The objective of this article is to analyze the geopolitical and geostrategic effects of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The time frame of the study is the first semester of 2022 and the area covered encompasses the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea, and the Arctic Ocean. In all three regions, there is evidence of a profound change in geopolitical dynamics and an attempt to reposition the most important hegemonic players, such as Russia and NATO. Additionally, a change in the nature of war is found, with hybrid warfare playing a greater role. This condition is also incorporated in the analysis of the behavior of the actors and their effort to reorganize their strategy towards each other. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo analizar los efectos geopolíticos y geoestratégicos derivados de la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania. Se toma como período de revisión el primer semestre de 2022 y se seleccionan como áreas de estudio el mar Báltico, el mar Negro y el océano Ártico. En las tres regiones se observa un cambio a fondo de las dinámicas geopolíticas y un intento de reposicionamiento de los jugadores hegemónicos más importantes, como Rusia y la OTAN. Además, se encuentra un impacto relevante en la modificación de la naturaleza de la guerra, en la que lo híbrido tiene un rol mayor. Esta condición también es incorporada en el examen del comportamiento de los actores y su esfuerzo por reorganizar su estrategia frente al otro.
