Description
Summary:Includes abstract. Includes bibliographical references (p. 44-46). The study found that the meridional positions and gradients of MADT exhibit interannual variability as well as considerable trends over the 15-year time-series. The meridional zones along the Greenwich Meridian also displayed clear trends over the period from June 2002 - November 2007 in integrated SST. The trends suggest a warming and shift in the climate state driving some of the variability in the ACC, which is consistent with other scientific studies.
