Here we can find a reference of what would later be called kraken. Se ofrece una breve panorámica de la presencia de los monstruos marinos en la tradición cultural escandinava, finalizando con la referencia al Speculum Regale y la traducción al castellano de sus capítulos XII y XVI, dedicados a las maravillas de las aguas de Islandia y de Groenlandia respectivamente, y donde se encuentra una noticia de lo que luego sería denominado el kraken.
