Summary:Women studying on the second level of the College Center, later renamed the University Center. Visible in the background is Totem Teddy, which was gifted to the University in 1914 by an alum in Alaska. It served as an emblem for the University for 88 years, giving the school its mascot. In 2003 it was returned to its original Tlingit tribe. These images exist as archived TIFF images and one or more JPEG versions for general use. They were scanned at 800 dpi, 16-bit from the original.
