Description
Summary:The Malvinas confrontation highlighted a new reality as well as the vulnerability of our Latin American countries not only in economic matters but also in security matters. Therefore, although we lost the war, we cannot lose sight of its teachings, especially the ones showing us the fragility of Latin America. In this work we intend to portray a vision of the Anglo-Argentine conflict over the South Atlantic islands, around Venezuela’s unconditional support for Argentina in its territorial and maritime claim of the Malvinas, South Georgia, and South Sandwich islands.
