Description
Summary:This research intends to determine the close relationship between the Latin American political systems and the development of integration schemes. Political systems are changeable and so are the views on integration and foreign policy. In Latin America, we have observed the construction and deconstruction of huge networks within the integration processes, all this with not very cooperative attitudes. Nowadays, the FTAA is a challenge for the hemisphere. The creation of a Free Trade Area from Alaska down to Tierra del Fuego allows us to take political positions based on the views of the external panorama (foreign policy) and of the domestic changes in each country (domestic policy) La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación estrecha entre los sistemas políticos latinoamericanos y la construcción de los esquemas de integración.
