Summary:Iz svojih pedagoških izkušenj se zavedam, kako pomemben je prostor, kjer se zadržujejo otroci. Prav, da je takšen prostor prijeten in prilagojen otrokom. Pravni predpisi določajo, kakšen naj bo takšen prostor. Iz svojih izkušenj dobro vem, da se nekateri vrtci le ne držijo vseh pravil. Zato sem podala v raziskovanje razmer v vrtcih v Sloveniji. Želela sem tudi raziskati, kakšna mnenja o svojem delovnem okolju imajo sami vzgojitelji. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela je predstavljena umestitev zgradbe vrtca v okolico, sama zgradba vrtca ter prostori v vrtcu. V sklopu vsega tega sem predstavila tudi Pravilnik o normativih in minimalnih tehničnih pogojih za prostor in opremo vrtca. Osredotočila sem se na prostore, kjer se zadržujejo otroci. V empiričnem delu sem opredelila, ali prostori ustrezajo Pravilniku o normativih in minimalnih tehničnih pogojih za prostor in opremo vrtca ter ali se vzgojitelji prijetno počutijo v prostorih kjer večino dneva preživijo s skupino otrok. Zanimalo me je, ali se morda za organizacijo vzgojnega procesa poleg igralnice poslužujejo tudi ostalih prostorov kot so garderoba, hodnik in skupni prostori. Izpostavila sem tudi prostorsko povezavo igralnice z zunanjim prostorom. Zanima me tudi urejenost sanitarnih prostorov pri igralnicah prvega in drugega starostnega obdobja. From my experience working in the field of pedagogy, I realize how important is a place frequented. By children I believe that this place must be pleasant and adapted to children. Certain normativs about how should be such a space exist. From my experience, I know that some kindergartens do not adhere to all the rules. Therefore, I made a survey on the situation in kindergartens in Slovenia. I also wanted to explore the opinion of educators about their working environment. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the placement of the kindergarten in its surroundings, the structure of the kindergarten itself and its facilities. In this context, I present a brief overview on the regulations on norms and the minimum technical requirements for space and equipment for the kindergarten. I focuse on places frequented by children. In the empirical part, I have identified, whether spaces correspond to the Rules on norms and minimum technical requirements for space and equipment for the kindergarten and whether teachers feel comfortable with the places where they spent most of the days with a group of children. I also wondered whether other areas such as changing rooms, hallways and common spaces are included in the organization of the educational process in addition to playrooms. I also highlighted the spatial connection between the playroom and the outdoors space. I was also interested in the regulation of sanitary facilities in playrooms for children of the first and second age group.
