This report is a time mark of the joint venture of the collaboration between the Institute of Biology in Syktyvkar, Russia, and RIZA in Lelystad, the Netherlands, in co-operation with the State Committee for Environmental Protection in Nar'yan-Mar (1995-1999). It reflects the findings during five expeditions into the area of the Pechora Delta in northern Russia (68'OO'N 53'30'E). This report is written according to the programme of complex researches within the framework of the project "Structure and Dynamics of the Pechora Delta Ecosystems".
