Summary: | Ascophyllum nodosum L. dominates rocky intertidal shores throughout the temperate North Atlantic. Six microsatellite loci were developed for A. nodosum using enriched libraries. There was no cross-reactivity observed with Fucus serratus, F. vesiculosus or F. evanescens. |
