Summary:The Reference case assessment of the Prince Edward Islands (PEI) toothfish ( Dissostichus eleginoides ) resource reported by Brandão and Butterworth (2022) is updated to take the further data now available for 2022 into account. The differences in the results between the Reference case models of 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 are relatively small. With the further year’s data available, the results show a slightly better status for the resource and an increase in abundance for 2022 compared to the last few years.
