Determination of some lipid constituents in organic matter of the Northwestern Ross Sea, Antarctica

In order to improve the knowledge on transfer of biogenic matter in the Artarctic Southern Ocean, hydrocarbons, sterols and fatty acids have been analysed in samples of sinking particles collected montly at two different deeps.
