Description
Summary:The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained some errors and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. The authors discovered an error in the implementation of the developed emission estimates into the DEHM model by which the emissions were repeated multiple times resulting in higher predictions of the atmospheric concentrations than should have been reported. The main results are unaffected with the calculated emissions reported correctly. Abstract: “… shows that the predicted concentration range for the high emission scenario is in line with the measured range, whereas the predicted concentrations for the low emission estimate is a factor of 10 lower than the measurements, rendering the high emission estimate most probable.” should be “… shows that the predicted concentration range for the high and low emission scenario is a factor of 10 and 100-1000 lower than the measurements, respectively, rendering the high emission estimate most probable” Section 4.3 “The range of DP concentrations predicted by the high emission scenario fits very well with the range of observations within the Arctic, while the DP concentrations predicted with the low emission scenario are an order of magnitude lower than the observations.” should be “The range of DP concentrations predicted by the high emission scenario is an order of magnitude lower than the range of observations within the Arctic, while the DP concentrations predicted with the low emission scenario are two to three orders of magnitude lower than the observations.” The updated figures and table are presented below.[Formula presented][Formula presented] [Table presented] The authors regret any inconvenience caused because of the above-mentioned errors.
