Summary: | This research article presents the analysis carried out on Marambio Aerodrome for the operation of the Colombian Air Force in Antarctic territory through applied research. The objective is to determine Antarctic operational risks, specifically technical risk factors, based on geodetic survey and aerial photogrammetric drone flights, including aerodrome infrastructure and obstacles. The information adheres to the quality criteria established in the World Geodetic System Manual 1984 (wgs-84) (ICAO, 2002, Document 9674).The obtained information led to the generation of the following products: a 3D model, orthophoto, aerodrome plan, and flight instrument procedures, including the Instrument Approach Chart (IAC), Standard Terminal Arrival Route (STAR), and Standard Instrument Departure (SID). After generating these aeronautical products, the aerodrome analysis was conducted, considering criteria published by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Argentine Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) for runways in the Antarctic environment, regulations that have not yet been adopted in Colombia. The results allow addressing the management of technical risk factors through data capture, aerodrome analysis, and aeronautical cartography generation as part of the instrument flight procedure design services. Emphasizing the importance of ensuring information integrity at all times, as it is integral to all evaluated processes.
