The Arctic region is facing new problems and challenges alongside the already existing ones of Arctic migration. For example, refugees are a growing group of inhabitants in the Arctic. Cultural differences, the acceptance of foreign citizens in the local communities, integration into local communities and labour markets are some of the issues that need cross-border cooperation to contribute to innovative solutions.
