| Summary: | The objective of this paper is to analyze the securitization of the Arctic in the formulation made by the Copenhagen School in International Security in the post-Cold War era. The geopolitics of the region was considered in the analysis, with its natural resources and the possibility of navigation, especially with the largest access franchisee by global warming and consequent decrease in ice coverage in the Arctic. The various actors and issues concerning the Arctic region make it as a complex of regional security, and these actors must act so that the region becomes one of cooperation and not coping [.]. O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a securitização do Ártico na formulação feita pela Escola de Copenhague no âmbito da Segurança Internacional no período do pós-Guerra Fria. Foi considerada na análise a geopolítica da região, com seus recursos naturais e possibilidade de navegação, especialmente com o maior acesso franqueado pelo aquecimento global e a consequente diminuição da cobertura de gelo no Ártico. Os diversos atores e questões concernentes à região ártica fazem com que ela se mostre como um complexo de segurança regional, devendo esses atores agirem para que a região seja de cooperação e não de enfrentamento, evitando [.].
