Does Spain need a law to combat the gender and sex pay gap?

The gender pay gap in Spain is between 14.9 and 35% (differing depending on the way in which it is calculated). The problem is evident and is being debated. In this article we propose concrete measures to face it, taking as a starting point and example those adopted in France, Germany and Iceland. La brecha salarial entre mujeres y hombres existente en España se sitúa entre un 14,9 y un 35 % (difiriendo según la forma en la que se calcula). El problema es evidente y el debate está abierto. En este artículo proponemos medidas concretas para abordarlo, tomando como punto de partida y ejemplo las adoptadas en Francia, Alemania e Islandia.
