Desde una perspectiva científica, se realiza una descripción de la expedición hacia el naufragio del Titanic, que partió de San Juan de Terranova el 16 de junio a bordo del buque de investigación y expedición MV Polar Prince. Durante la misión, el sumergible en el que viajaban cinco ocupantes implosionó de manera trágica.
