Summary:The inventory of Taraxacum collections in the Herbaria of the Botanical Museum, Finnish Museum of Natural History, University of Helsinki (H), Karelian Forest Research Institute (PTZ) and Komarov Botanical Institute (LE) showed that many apomictic species of this genus are missing in the currently used check-lists of Russia and its regions in East Fennoscandia. As a result of this inventory, 21 species of Taraxacum are reported as new to Russia. The new species reports refer to Leningrad Region (18), Karelian Republic (21), Murmansk Region (1) or Archangelsk Region (1). Many species are new to East Fennoscandian biogeographic provinces:Ka (4), Ik (3),Kl (8),Kol (17),Ksv (4), Ks (2).
