Description
Summary:Chenopodiaceae specimens from H, LE and VOA and some recent private collectionswere revised and several new casual species were found for Finland, as well as for the Leningrad Region and the Republic of Karelia in Russia. Atriplex argentea Nutt. s.lat., A. micrantha C.A. Mey. and Bassia sedoides (Pall.) Asch. are new to Finland, while Atriplex micrantha, A. oblongifolia Waldst. & Kit. and Suaeda acuminata (C.A. Mey.) Moq. are new to the Leningrad Region and Atriplex laevis C.A. Mey. and Corispermum algidum Iljin. are new to Karelia. On the other hand, contrary to previous erroneous records, Atriplex belangeri Moq., A. lasiantha Boiss. and Polycnemum majus A.Braun have not been found in Finland. We elucidate key characters of these species in addition to Salsola collina Pall., which is poorly known in Finland.
