Cet article s’intéresse au choix d’une nomination par un sujet à l’heure de se dire sexué, qu’il s’agisse d’un « troisième sexe » ou tout simplement de son hétéro- homo- ou transexualité. L’auteur rappelle que la psychanalyse d’orientation lacanienne ne fétichise pas l’anatomie ni la différence sexuelle. Il révise une série de préjugés qui cherchent à voir dans le discours analytique un vecteur de normalisation, fût-elle œdipienne.
