Ce dictionnaire thématique est le quatrième d’une série que Scarecrow Press consacre aux minorités ou groupes de minorités ayant un impact culturel ou politi­que important dans le monde d’aujourd’hui. Les trois premiers volumes portaient sur les Kurdes, les Inuit et les Druzes. Le choix opéré ici en faveur de l’ensemble disparate (près de 90 entités ethniques recensées) que forment les 80 millions de montagnards du nord de la péninsule indochinoise et du sud tropical de la Chine est justifié . This thematic dictionary is the fourth in a series that Scarecrow Press devotes to minorities or groups of minorities with a significant cultural or political impact in today’s world. The first three volumes concerned Kurds, Inuit and Druzes. The choice made here in favour of the disparate group (almost 90 ethnic entities identified) made up of the 80 million mountains in the north of the Indo-Chinese Peninsula and South tropical China is justified.
