Summary:The author's approaches to the study of the problem of the structural policy and the specifics of the formation of the infrastructure of single-industry cities on the territory of the Russian Arctic are presented for discussion in the scientific community. The author marks urgent problems in the structure of the economy and its individual elements, reveals resource restrictions and specifics of infrastructure state of single-industry cities on the territory of the Russian Arctic. The author proves the expediency of the formation of new approaches to the construction of a model of economic development of single-industry cities based on innovations and individual regional competitive advantages. The author uses a complex analysis of the structural development of the economy of the Arctic zone.
