Ibn al-Ya’s poem ‘sami’ on ‘a gebra’ (m. 601/1204) is considered to be one of the mathematical texts disseminated in the Maghreb at the end of the Middle Ages. It was the subject of thirteen comments, including that of Abu, the one of which was made by Abu, the one of which was the one of Abu, which has been the subject of an assessment of the facts of the case (m. 811/1408). This last time was seen as lost by specialists in the history of mathematics to practise. However, as a result of research in private libraries, we can find a copy of this comment in a collection of astronomy and mathematics held in the zagu, which has been preserved in Algeria. As has been written by various specialists, this text testifies to the difuse of comments and germs in the census of mathematics in the West Island. |
